- UR for "Utterly Ridiculous" - Look, 24 has never been the paragon of logic - I've always laughed about how quickly they can get across L.A., regardless of traffic. And some of the storylines (hysterical amnesia, cougar attack, crazy Chinese intelligence agent shows up out of nowhere, etc.) have been pretty over-the-top. This season, however, takes the cake... culminating in the last couple of episodes.
- OE for "Awesomely Exciting" - But, regardless of how logically problematic the plot twists are (is stinkin' EVERYone corrupt in the U.S. govt?!), the action is fast & furious and the tension is amazing. This is great storytelling... and I can't wait for the next episode.
Everything including the kitchen sink... but with special attention paid to board games, Jesus Christ, my family, being a "professional" (and I use that word loosely) Christian, and the random firing of the 10% of the synapses I'm currently using.

Rated UR & OE
Just finished catching up on 24, thanks to Hulu.com... I'm rating the current season:
Hmmm. Shouldn't "Awesomely Exciting" be AE? :)
ReplyDeleteWhy, yes it should, Jason. But I was "overwhelmed & excited" at the time. So there.
