Why It's On The List
- Yes, the theme is a bit creepy (you're the witch in the Hansel & Gretel story - inviting storybook creatures to, ahem, dinner)... but the spatial problem of building your house using the extra-thick tiles is fascinating.
Tips & Tricks:
- This is a game where thinking ahead can be very helpful... you need to work to set yourself up to have multiple solid moves rather than just thinking of your next victory.
- Like many Euro games, with experience you can be watching other players to see what choices you can make that will (a) help you, and (b) hinder them. The key is to focus your early games on learning how to help yourself succeed instead of focusing on stopping other players.
