If only BGG allowed for these categories. Quite amusing read. One point of note, if you like worker placement games (and don't hate the new world theme), Age of Empires III was surprisingly good. I had no interest in it until I picked it up for incredibly cheap, and then I was quite pleasantly shocked with the quality of it.
You are the SECOND person to read this & suggest Age of Empires (this crossposts to Facebook & I got a similar comment there). Seems I'm gonna have to give that one a try.
