Everything including the kitchen sink... but with special attention paid to board games, Jesus Christ, my family, being a "professional" (and I use that word loosely) Christian, and the random firing of the 10% of the synapses I'm currently using.

oh, i remember how much i hated the calvinism conversations with dr. troxler back in the day...
interestingly, now i am a devout calvinist. who'da thunk it?
oh yeah...I'll definitely be telling that one in the grad lounge. Thanks!
but doesn't calvinism make us all robots? doesn't the existence of logical reason necessitate that we have free will?
If someone who IS a Calvinist wants to respond to "the robot comment" in a gentle & loving manner, go right ahead.
OTOH, the existence of logical reason simply says that we have the ability to reason, not the causation or lack thereof behind it. (See, I can argue with those Kwazy Kalvinists even when I'm Mr. "Sit On The Fence About The Whole Pre-Destination/Freewill Thing" Guy.)
Predestination just implies that God calls people to himself because we'd never choose to come to him by our own free will if given the choice.
It really doesn't mean we're robots. However, it is implied that God is sovereign to the extent that if he calls us to himself, we'll go. Becoming a Calvinist hasn't made me feel like a robot at all; it's actually made me realize how awesome he is in a whole new light. Pretty cool.
