    Why It's On The List
    • Another flip'n'write with a simple way to vary up starting positions on identical maps... and a lovely edge of push-your-luck as you try to build a meaningful trail network across the island.
    Tips &Tricks:
    • Collecting multiple sites of the same type (by connecting them to villages) both builds points and eventually lets you create extra 'wild' trails... I don't think you have to complete all of them, but neglecting them doesn't seem like a viable strategy.
    • The reward cards for being the first to connect villages is often the difference between winning and losing among skilled players.
    Extras
    • There is a (sadly difficult to get here in the U.S.) expansion (Ferries) that adds two new maps with some new elements... and an extra pad of the basic maps.
    • I'd also highly recommend another roll'n'write by the same design - Riverside.
    • The solo mode is a great 15 minute puzzle. It's the ninth of 18 solo-recommended games on the countdown.
